The king of Dor in the coast of Dor , one; the king of the nations of Gilgal , one;

The son of Abinadab , in all the region of Dor ; which had Taphath the daughter of Solomon to wife:

Now there was at Joppa a certain disciple named Tabitha, which by interpretation is called Dorcas: this woman was full of good works and almsdeeds which she did.

And to the kings that were on the north of the mountains, and of the plains south of Chinneroth , and in the valley, and in the borders of Dor on the west,

And out of the tribe of Naphtali , Kedesh in Galilee with her suburbs, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and Hammoth–dor with her suburbs, and Kartan with her suburbs; three cities.

And by the borders of the children of Manasseh , Beth–shean and her towns, Taanach and her towns, Megiddo and her towns, Dor and her towns. In these dwelt the children of Joseph the son of Israel .

Then Peter arose and went with them. When he was come, they brought him into the upper chamber: and all the widows stood by him weeping, and shewing the coats and garments which Dorcas made, while she was with them.

Neither did Manasseh drive out the inhabitants of Beth–shean and her towns, nor Taanach and her towns, nor the inhabitants of Dor and her towns, nor the inhabitants of Ibleam and her towns, nor the inhabitants of Megiddo and her towns: but the Canaanites would dwell in that land.

In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;

Now then we are ambassadors for Christ , as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ 's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said,

And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem , coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.

Hadoram also, and Uzal , and Diklah,

And Penuel the father of Gedor , and Ezer the father of Hushah. These are the sons of Hur, the firstborn of Ephratah, the father of Beth–lehem.

And his wife Jehudijah bare Jered the father of Gedor , and Heber the father of Soco , and Jekuthiel the father of Zanoah . And these are the sons of Bithiah the daughter of Pharaoh, which Mered took.

And they went to the entrance of Gedor , even unto the east side of the valley, to seek pasture for their flocks.

And Gedor , and Ahio , and Zacher.

And Joelah, and Zebadiah, the sons of Jeroham of Gedor .

He sent Hadoram his son to king David , to enquire of his welfare, and to congratulate him, because he had fought against Hadarezer, and smitten him; (for Hadarezer had war with Tou;) and with him all manner of vessels of gold and silver and brass.
